Customer Service Administrator (Temp)

About the role

A well-established and growing business is looking for a proactive, customer-focused temporary Customer Service Administrator to join its team in Godalming. The role combines customer service, order management and administration, and suits someone who enjoys resolving customer queries and working closely with internal teams. Key responsibilities

• Respond to customer enquiries and resolve issues through the company's customer support platform.
• Liaise with warehouse and logistics teams to investigate and resolve delivery-related queries.
• Manage courier communications and track deliveries to ensure successful order fulfilment.
• Identify lost or delayed parcels and coordinate replacement orders where necessary.
• Process returns and refund requests in line with company procedures, issue return authorisations and keep accurate records of pending refunds.
• Co-ordinate with internal teams so returned goods are received and processed correctly, and arrange customer refunds accurately.
• Maintain accurate customer records and update internal systems.
• Support the wider team with administrative and operational tasks as required.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a customer service, sales support, order processing or administration role.
• Experience dealing directly with consumers and providing a high level of customer care.
• Previous experience liaising with courier and logistics providers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organisation and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM, ERP or warehouse management systems.
• E-commerce customer service experience is highly advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and business systems.
