Customer Service Administrator (Transport & Logistics)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Customer Service Administrator to join our busy transport and logistics operation in Avonmouth. The role involves handling customer enquiries, coordinating freight movements and supporting the Customer Service Manager in a fast‑paced office environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide daily administrative support to the Customer Service Manager.
• Monitor and respond to customer emails promptly.
• Process enquiries, bookings, quotations and service‑related queries.
• Liaise with transport and operations teams to meet customer requirements.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and update customers on outbound deliveries.
• Accurately enter and update booking information in internal systems.
• Maintain customer records and manage online portals.
• Handle inbound telephone enquiries regarding deliveries and general requests.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities with high attention to detail.
• Confidence using IT systems and willingness to learn new software.
• Positive, proactive and team‑focused attitude.
