HGV Driver

About the role

Join Tesco as an HGV Driver and become the face of the brand on the road. You will deliver products to stores across the South West, enjoy the freedom of the open road, and receive support from a dedicated team at the distribution centre.

Key responsibilities

• Represent the Tesco brand professionally while driving on UK roads.
• Collect and deliver goods, ensuring they arrive on time and in good condition.
• Move trailers, keep vehicles fuelled, and support the distribution centre’s operations.
• Drive safely, responsibly and in compliance with all legal requirements.

Required profile

• Passionate about delivering great customer service.
• Friendly, approachable and reliable.
• Willing to work flexible shifts and adapt to changing routes.

Required skills

• Full HGV1 (C+E) EU licence with no more than six penalty points.
• Valid Driver Qualification Card (DQC) and Driver Card.
• Ability to adhere to Working Time Directive and EU Drivers Hours regulations.
