About the role
We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our NDT laboratory in Dudley. The role is the first point of contact for customers requesting quotes, supporting the sales engine by handling pricing enquiries and ensuring timely, accurate responses.
Key responsibilities
- Receive and process incoming pricing and quotation requests promptly and accurately.
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams to deliver well‑informed, customer‑focused quotes.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with customers via phone and email.
- Identify opportunities for additional services by asking targeted, customer‑centred questions.
- Proactively follow up on outstanding RFQs to keep opportunities moving forward.
- Clarify customer requirements and ensure all needs are addressed.
Required profile
- Relevant technical knowledge; sales experience is an advantage.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to both specialist and non‑specialist audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, business or equivalent experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Financial awareness and effective time‑management.
- Willingness to learn about our products and services.
Required skills
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (experience with a CRM system is a plus).
