Customer Service Specialist – Personal Banking (Glasgow)

About the role

Teleperformance is seeking an inbound Customer Service Specialist to join its Personal Banking campaign for Lloyds Banking Group. The role is office‑based in Glasgow and involves delivering high‑quality telephone support to banking customers.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls from personal banking customers, providing accurate information and solutions.
• Maintain a professional, courteous telephone manner at all times.
• Follow operational procedures and meet service level targets during flexible hours (08:00‑22:00, Monday‑Sunday).
• Complete a two‑week training programme and apply learned skills on the shop floor.
• After the initial three‑month onsite period, choose between continued on‑site work or remote work based on performance.

Required profile

• Minimum of one year experience in a customer service or call‑centre environment.
• Excellent verbal communication in English, with a clear and confident speaking style.
• Strong listening skills, empathy, patience and the ability to handle difficult conversations.
• High attention to detail, accuracy and numeracy.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and make complex decisions.
• Target‑driven with a proactive attitude.
• Previous banking or financial experience is desirable but not essential.
