Cyber Security Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security professional to lead our security function for a leading UK healthcare charity. Reporting to the Head of IT, you will shape strategy, strengthen governance and embed security across technology delivery while working fully remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cyber security across the UK business, driving governance, risk management and best‑practice security.
• Manage relationships with internal teams and third‑party suppliers to ensure services and controls meet organisational standards.
• Provide technical oversight of infrastructure, cloud and security solutions, supporting vulnerability management and secure‑by‑design principles.
• Champion recognised security frameworks such as ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials Plus, CAF and NIST, and help mature the organisation’s overall cyber capability.

Required profile

• Experienced cyber security professional with a track record of influencing senior stakeholders.
• Strategic leader comfortable combining high‑level direction with hands‑on technical input.
