Cyber Security Network Engineer – Banking

About the role

We are partnering with an international banking institution to strengthen its Technology and Information Security function. The Cyber Security Network Engineer will support the design, implementation and ongoing protection of the bank’s network and infrastructure estate in a highly regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage secure network and infrastructure solutions.
• Maintain security technologies such as firewalls, network security controls and monitoring tools.
• Monitor, investigate and respond to security incidents and emerging threats.
• Support vulnerability management, including remediation and security improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to security architecture, infrastructure projects and technology enhancements.
• Review and enforce security controls to protect critical banking systems and data.
• Collaborate with IT, Infrastructure and Security teams to improve the overall security posture.

Required profile

• Experience in cyber security, network security or security engineering.
• Strong understanding of network security principles and enterprise infrastructure.
• Familiarity with security assessments, audits and regulatory requirements.
• Analytical, troubleshooting and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Experience in banking or other regulated sectors is advantageous.
