DA Litigated File Handler – Fraud & Legal Specialist

About the role

The DA Litigated File Handler works within a specialist team of fraud and legal professionals, managing a caseload of litigated RTA suspected fraud cases on behalf of insurance clients. Operating under delegated authority, the role combines forensic analysis of evidence with commercial insight to achieve optimal outcomes for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Run fraud cases from initiation through litigation to final resolution.
• Conduct detailed review and analysis of evidence throughout each case.
• Set and follow case strategy in line with lead lawyer and technical leads.
• Adhere to all process stages, deadlines and procedural requirements.
• Identify strategic litigation opportunities and complex cases.
• Monitor client trends and contribute to client relationship management.
• Produce accurate internal and client management information.
• Liaise with investigators and other stakeholders to implement agreed investigations.

Required profile

• Strong forensic and analytical mindset with ability to assess evidence.
• High commercial awareness, particularly regarding fixed‑fee work.
• Effective decision‑making within set timeframes.
• Ability to work collaboratively with team leaders, lawyers and technical leads.
• Commitment to meeting procedural and investigative deadlines.
