Data Engineer – Build Scalable Data Platforms

About the role

As a Data Engineer you will join a high‑performing Data Analytics team, designing and maintaining robust data pipelines that power critical business and investment processes.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and optimise data pipelines to ingest and process data from diverse internal and external sources.
• Develop and enhance scalable data platforms, ensuring they evolve with business and technical requirements.
• Monitor, maintain and improve data systems to deliver high performance, reliability and data quality.
• Implement testing and validation processes to guarantee accurate and consistent data delivery.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand data needs and deliver solutions aligned with business objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and building scalable data pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and Python.
• Familiarity with Databricks or Azure data environments.
• Experience using version control (Git) and workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow.
• Ability to test, troubleshoot and continuously improve data platforms.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
