Data Platforms Associate

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Data Platforms Associate to join our Data Platforms Team in Bristol. You will be the first line of support for internal IT requests, helping to keep critical data platforms running smoothly for an energy provider serving millions of customers.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 1st‑line technical support and escalate complex issues as needed.
• Manage incoming service‑desk requests, ensuring timely responses.
• Perform daily health checks on data platforms and raise change‑management requests.
• Document incidents and follow internal processes.
• Coordinate migrations, access requests and platform maintenance.

Required profile

• Strong problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• Basic understanding of Active Directory and networking concepts.
• Familiarity with ITIL principles, especially Continual Service Improvement.
