Day Concierge - Luxury Apartment Complex

About the role

A new Day Concierge is needed for a luxury apartment complex in Wandsworth (SW18) with 433 exclusive apartments. The concierge is the first point of contact for residents, visitors and contractors, and must be professional in manner and appearance at all times. The post is permanent, Monday to Thursday 07:00-19:00, paid up to £34,445 per year (£13.80 per hour).

Key responsibilities

• Meet and greet residents, visitors and contractors courteously and professionally.
• Act as first point of call for telephone, intercom, email and face-to-face enquiries.
• Receive and log parcels and packages, and hand them over to residents or authorised third parties with ID or written authority.
• Log resident written instructions and ask verbal instructions to be emailed and filed, and register new residents on the concierge database.
• Programme door entry fobs and key cards, and enter telephone numbers on intercom panels.
• Forward resident complaints and lease breaches to the Building Manager, and arrange access for PMM contractors.
• Perform end-of-shift parcel and key audits, and weekly fire alarm, lift alarm and other regulatory tests and inspections.
• Be familiar with fire activation and evacuation procedures, and patrol the site, reporting hazards and fixing minor ones proactively.
• Update handover notes and instructions each shift, and follow company policies on dress, health and safety and alcohol.

Required profile

• At least 2 years' residential concierge experience at a luxury establishment.
• Exceptional customer service, attention to detail and outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Enthusiastic, proactive and able to build trusting relationships with residents and colleagues.
• An SIA licence is desirable but not mandatory.
