Delivery Postie with Driving – Full‑time

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Delivery Postie who will deliver mail and parcels across the Dereham area. The role involves walking long distances, driving a company vehicle and working in all weather conditions to ensure the community receives its items on time.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver letters, parcels and special items on an assigned route.
• Handle and deliver election materials, food products and alcohol in line with Royal Mail standards.
• Drive a company vehicle safely, holding a full UK manual driving licence (≤6 penalty points).
• Work a rota that includes Sundays and flexible hours between 7:15 am and 3:30 pm.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and secure handling of all items.

Required profile

• Upbeat, independent and self‑motivated.
• Organised, punctual and committed to excellent customer service.
• Enjoy walking for long periods and working outdoors in any weather.
• Strong sense of community and pride in the role.
• Full UK manual driving licence with no more than six penalty points.
