Demand Generation Manager

About the role

Employal is seeking a commercially‑minded Demand Generation Manager to own the end‑to‑end demand generation function for its fast‑growing SaaS business. You will work at the intersection of marketing, sales and leadership, ensuring that every marketing dollar drives high‑quality pipeline and revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Own and optimise the full demand generation funnel from lead acquisition through to Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs), Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) and revenue contribution.
• Define, monitor and improve MQL and SQL performance metrics.
• Collaborate closely with sales leadership to align on lead quality, follow‑up processes and conversion performance.
• Manage and hold external marketing agencies accountable for campaign delivery, performance and ROI.
• Analyse campaign effectiveness, attribution and return on investment, making data‑driven recommendations.
• Coordinate multi‑channel campaigns and continuously optimise based on results.

Required profile

• Commercially minded with a strong understanding of how demand generation impacts sales performance and revenue.
• Data‑led decision maker comfortable challenging under‑performance and identifying optimisation opportunities.
• Experience managing external agencies and partners, without direct people‑management responsibilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment on lead quality and pipeline goals.
