Demand Planner – FMCG (Food Sector)

About the role

We are looking for a Demand Planner to join a growing food-sector business in Surrey. This permanent, office-based position will focus on developing accurate demand forecasts and supporting end-to-end supply-chain performance.

Key responsibilities

• Support the management of end-to-end supply-chain operations.
• Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts to optimise stock levels and service performance.
• Collaborate with Sales, Procurement, Operations and Logistics to align supply with customer demand.
• Monitor inventory levels, identify risks and implement corrective actions.
• Analyse supply-chain data and present actionable insights to improve forecasting accuracy and efficiency.
• Support continuous-improvement initiatives across the supply-chain function.

Required profile

• Previous experience within a food supply-chain environment (manufacturing, FMCG or distribution).
• Strong demand-planning and forecasting experience.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good stakeholder-management and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, office-based setting.
