Deputy Store Manager – Retail Leadership Role

About the role

As a Deputy Store Manager at Aldi, you will support the Store Manager in driving sales, delivering outstanding customer service, and improving operational efficiency. This position offers real responsibility and is an ideal step for experienced team leaders aiming for store management.

Key responsibilities

• Run the store in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager
• Deliver excellent customer service that exceeds expectations
• Support employee engagement and help meet store KPIs
• Monitor product quality and manage stock rotation
• Oversee till cashing up and safe deposits
• Maintain Health & Safety and due‑diligence standards

Required profile

• Experience managing teams in fast‑paced, customer‑focused environments
• Strong time‑management and cost‑control abilities
• Motivated to achieve and exceed targets consistently
• Excellent customer service and compliance awareness
