Designer – Engineered Timber Solutions

About the role

We are looking for a Designer to join our Redhill design team, delivering high‑quality engineered timber solutions. You will own projects from the initial quote through to final design, working closely with customers and internal sales and service teams to ensure fast, accurate delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Produce accurate quotes and MiTek Pamir designs for roof trusses and floor joists from enquiry to final design.
• Manage customer enquiries and maintain regular communication throughout the design process.
• Collaborate with sales and service teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Review drawings and specifications to confirm designs meet customer requirements.
• Support initiatives to improve turnaround time and overall customer experience.

Required profile

• Experience in the construction industry, specifically roof truss and Posi‑Joist design.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Confident communication skills for building customer relationships.
• Relevant design experience; knowledge of JJI software is advantageous.

• PAMIR design software (essential).
• MiTek Pamir.
• JJI software (advantageous).
