DevOps Architect (Azure)

About the role

Exadel, an AI-first global tech company, is recruiting a DevOps Architect (Azure) for a Big Four accounting firm, the world's largest professional services network. The team designs, develops and deploys enterprise technology and AI-driven tools supporting tax services, combining tax, software engineering, change management and project management expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Design Azure-hosted solutions meeting business and technical requirements.
• Create highly available, scalable, reliable and secure cloud environments.
• Act as Azure Cloud Champion for the App Development and DevOps teams.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and firm policies.
• Work with application architects, DevSecOps and Cyber teams to review security questionnaires.
• Guide DevOps and development teams on cloud solution integration and organize infrastructure architecture reviews.
• Mentor junior team members and liaise with vendors and cloud providers.
• Monitor cloud systems, optimize resources and costs through automation, implement disaster recovery and maintain technical documentation.
• Report on cloud service performance and cost trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Extensive experience designing, developing and deploying cloud architecture.
• Ability to adapt the traditional SDLC to agile phases when automating cloud architecture tasks.
• Experience producing PoCs for development and DevOps teams.

Required skills

• Expertise in Azure, including PaaS offerings such as AKS, Azure SQL, APIM and Azure Service Bus.
• Cloud-native technologies: containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices.
• Networking, security and database management in the cloud.
• Source code management concepts (branching, merging, integration, versioning).
• Nice to have: Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect certification, DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
