About the role
Join a UK‑based conservation charity’s Digital Transformation Team as a DevOps Engineer. You will own the reliability, security and performance of production environments that support a portfolio of web applications, working across both cloud and on‑premise platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployments.
- Manage and monitor infrastructure on Azure, AWS and Proxmox, ensuring high availability.
- Automate provisioning and configuration using Terraform and Ansible.
- Handle database administration, backups and disaster‑recovery processes for PostgreSQL.
- Respond to incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and improve monitoring with Zabbix.
- Collaborate with developers to optimise architecture and operational workflows.
Required profile
- Hands‑on experience with Linux‑based systems.
- Proven ability to work in a collaborative, fast‑moving team.
- Strong problem‑solving mindset and a passion for continuous improvement.
