About the role
Mastercard is seeking a Director to lead its Global Channel & Partnerships Sales for Mastercard Services. The role will shape and execute the strategy for strategic partner accounts, driving revenue and expanding the Services portfolio worldwide.
Key responsibilities
- Own revenue targets delivered through strategic channel partners.
- Identify, research and qualify target partners aligned with the global partner strategy.
- Develop compelling partner value propositions and executive‑ready narratives tied to Mastercard Services outcomes.
- Lead complex partnership sales cycles from initial conversation through negotiation and contract signing.
- Launch pilots or proof‑of‑concepts in initial markets and scale successful models to additional regions.
- Drive partner onboarding and activation to enable partners to sell, market and deliver Mastercard Services.
- Collaborate with regional sales and services teams to ensure clean execution and appropriate revenue routing.
- Maintain disciplined pipeline management, forecasting and reporting, and run regular partner governance.
Required profile
- Extensive experience in partnerships, channel or alliance sales with a proven record of closing complex deals.
- Demonstrated ability to originate, shape and close partnership agreements, not just enablement.
- Track record of building partnerships from scratch through targeting, outreach, commercial agreement and growth.
- Consultative selling approach with the capability to translate a broad services portfolio into tailored solutions.
Required skills
- Strong partnership “sell‑in” capability.
- Experience with data‑driven technologies and innovation in financial services.
- Ability to develop executive‑level value propositions and narratives.
