Director of Housing Property and Investment

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic senior leader to steer our Housing Property, Investment and Asset Services. The Director will provide strategic direction, ensure regulatory compliance and champion resident‑centred service improvements across our portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for housing property, investment and asset services.
• Steward and optimise housing and property assets to deliver value for money.
• Drive a data‑led approach to service delivery and performance monitoring.
• Develop and deliver capital investment and maintenance programmes aligned with the business plan.
• Ensure compliance with housing, health and safety, and building safety regulations.
• Manage asset performance, risk and planning to meet organisational targets.
• Engage residents in shaping repairs and investment programmes to boost satisfaction.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in housing property or asset management.
• Strong knowledge of housing and building safety regulations.
• Proven leadership with a focus on resident‑centred services.
• Relevant degree in Property Management, Housing or a related field; professional certifications are a plus.
• Demonstrated track record of managing large‑scale housing projects, budgets and stakeholder partnerships.
