Director of Product Management – Real‑Time Payments

About the role

Mastercard is looking for a Director of Product Management to lead the strategy and evolution of Account‑to‑Account (A2A) products and the Access Layer within its Real‑Time Payments (RTP) team. You will shape the vision, define the value proposition and drive the product roadmap that enables secure, reliable access to real‑time payment rails worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Provide product leadership for A2A, Access Layer and Overlay capabilities, aligning vision with RTP global strategy.
• Translate strategic objectives into a prioritized, scalable product roadmap that balances regulatory, customer and market needs.
• Own end‑to‑end product lifecycle from concept through launch and ongoing management using the Studio framework.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Architecture, CX&D, Risk, Legal, Operations and Commercial teams to define requirements and deliver production‑grade solutions.
• Drive market adoption and commercial viability of product capabilities across global markets.

Required profile

• Deep knowledge of the A2A ecosystem and real‑time payments landscape.
• Strong commercial judgement and ability to make data‑driven product decisions.
• Proven experience operating in complex, matrixed environments with multiple stakeholders.
• Executive‑level communication and leadership skills.
