Director, Partnerships

About the role

Lorum is looking for a Director, Partnerships to build its partnerships business from the ground up, starting with core banking providers. The role is hybrid, with 4 days per week in the London office in Fitzrovia, and reports to the Chief Revenue Officer. You will work across several markets and turn partnerships into qualified bank opportunities for the sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Find and sign new partnerships with core banking providers and other ecosystem partners
• Build a partner pipeline across target markets
• Meet partners at conferences, on site and through direct outreach
• Shape the commercial terms of each partnership
• Turn signed partnerships into qualified bank opportunities for the sales team

Required profile

• Experience working at, partnering with or selling through core banking providers, and knowledge of their commercial terms and partner ecosystems
• A network across core banking and banking technology usable from day one
• Ability to own partnerships end to end across multiple markets, without a playbook
• No degree, correspondent banking or payments experience required
• Nice to have: having built a partnerships team or function from scratch before
