About the role

Join a well‑established independent optician practice in Chelmsford, delivering a bespoke, luxury patient experience. You will work within a supportive team of six, using two dedicated testing rooms to provide personalised eye‑care and premium eyewear solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and dispense frames and lenses with clinical freedom.
• Offer specialist services such as myopia management and advanced lens fitting.
• Maintain a varied designer frame range, including brands like Tiffany and Face a Face.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure high standards of customer care and service.
• Manage flexible working patterns, including alternate Saturdays.

Required profile

• GOC‑registered dispensing optician.
• Passion for frames, dispensing and patient care.
• Strong attention to detail and a friendly, caring approach.
• Enjoys working as part of a close‑knit team.

Required skills

• Familiarity with premium lens manufacturers such as Zeiss, Hoya and Rodenstock.

What we offer

• Salary range £28,000‑£35,000 depending on experience.
