Distribution Sales Manager – Europe (Remote UK)

About the role

A remote UK-based Distribution Sales Manager position covering Europe, advertised by French Selection. The company is part of an international group supplying specialised equipment and products to industries such as marine, aerospace, medical and agriculture, and is a leading engineering and manufacturing organisation focused on motion control and mechanical component solutions. The reference is 755UK1.

Key responsibilities

• Generate sales of motion control products to distributors across Europe and meet revenue and profit targets.
• Build relationships at all levels of distributor organisations through site visits and virtual engagement.
• Lead product and application training sessions for distributor sales teams.
• Act as main point of contact, recommend solutions, prepare quotes and support contract negotiations.
• Create and run key account plans to hit sales, margin and customer satisfaction targets.
• Keep up with new products and design growth programmes for distributors.
• Work with sales and marketing to find market gaps and onboard new channel partners.
• Maintain accurate CRM reporting and meet KPIs and sales goals.
• Travel regularly to Europe (up to 30%) to meet distributors; travel to UK and European offices on a monthly basis.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering or Business preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
• Solid B2B sales experience in industrial markets; distribution sales experience advantageous.
• Experience in technical sales of mechanical components desirable.
• Fluent English, good commercial awareness and negotiation ability.
• Additional European languages (French, German, Spanish, Italian) highly advantageous.

Required skills

• Strong PC skills including Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred).
• Excellent presentation skills and ability to train groups.

What we offer

• Salary of circa £70,000 OTE per year, or £58,000 plus 25% performance bonus.
