About the role

Queensway House, a care home run by Gold Care Homes in Hemel Hempstead, is looking for a part-time Domestic Assistant. The role covers cleaning and housekeeping duties in the residents' rooms and bathrooms, with a focus on hygiene and care standards.

Key responsibilities

Clean all allocated rooms, including furniture, fittings, fabric, carpets and equipment
Clean bathrooms and toilets, following guidelines for the control of germs and infestation
Keep rooms odour-free
Follow the COSHH health and safety statement
Handle waste bags and dispose of them according to prescribed procedures
Stay familiar with the care standards regulations governing the job
Maintain client and business confidentiality at all times

Required profile

Experience in a similar role or a similar industry is preferred but not essential
Part-time availability
