Domiciliary Care Worker

About the role

We are seeking compassionate and reliable individuals to join our home‑care team. As a Domiciliary Care Worker you will support clients in their own homes, helping them maintain independence, dignity and wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with personal care tasks such as washing, dressing and toileting.
• Provide medication prompts and support with administration where required.
• Prepare meals and encourage proper nutrition and hydration.
• Offer companionship, emotional support and encourage social interaction.
• Support mobility, transfers and safe movement around the home.
• Carry out light household duties including cleaning and shopping.
• Maintain accurate care records and report any concerns promptly.
• Follow individual care plans and safeguarding procedures at all times.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 months care experience preferred.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, professional and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Enhanced DBS check preferred or willingness to obtain one.
• Driving licence and access to a vehicle.
