Early Career Teacher (ECT) Positions – Primary Schools – Sep Start

About the role
We are seeking final‑year teaching students to start their classroom careers as Early Career Teachers (ECTs) in primary schools across Staines‑upon‑Thames from September. The roles span EYFS, KS1 and KS2 and are available as short‑term, long‑term or permanent placements.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, pre‑planned lessons across assigned year groups.
- Maintain a positive, productive classroom environment and manage behaviour according to school policies.
- Mark work and provide constructive feedback in line with school standards.
- Plan, prepare and deliver curriculum‑aligned lessons, monitoring and reporting pupil progress.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions and wider school activities.
Required profile
- Final‑year teaching student on track to achieve Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Genuine passion for education and supporting young learners.
- Strong communication and classroom management abilities.
- Proactive, flexible and positive attitude.
