Early Career Teacher (ECT) – Primary Schools, Sep Start

About the role
We are seeking final‑year teaching students to start their classroom career as Early Career Teachers (ECTs) in primary schools across Camberley from September. Positions are available in EYFS, KS1 and KS2 and can be short‑term, long‑term or permanent, offering a real‑world teaching experience in supportive environments.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, pre‑planned lessons across the assigned year groups.
- Maintain a positive classroom atmosphere and enforce school behaviour policies.
- Mark work and provide constructive feedback in line with school standards.
- Plan, prepare and deliver curriculum‑aligned lessons (for long‑term roles).
- Assess, monitor and report on pupil progress.
- Build relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions and wider school activities.
Required profile
- Final‑year teaching student on track to achieve Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Passion for primary education and supporting young learners.
- Strong communication and classroom management abilities.
- Proactive, flexible and positive attitude.
