Early Career Teacher Pool – Fleetwood

About the role
The Lancashire Teaching Agency is looking for Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to join a pool of supply staff covering schools in the Fleetwood area. This role provides teaching cover on a permanent, fixed‑term or long‑term supply basis, helping schools meet their staffing needs while offering ECTs a pathway to contractual employment.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver classroom teaching across a range of subjects as required by partner schools.
- Provide short‑term, fixed‑term or long‑term supply cover to meet school staffing gaps.
- Collaborate with school leaders to ensure smooth transitions and maintain teaching standards.
- Participate in continuous professional development activities organised by the agency.
Required profile
- Near the end of a teacher training programme and eligible for qualified teacher status.
- Willingness to register with the Lancashire Teaching Agency and work on a supply basis.
- Commitment to safeguarding children and vulnerable adults, with a successful DBS check.
- Enthusiasm for professional growth and career planning.
