Early Years Educator – Outdoor Nursery (Full/Part‑time)

About the role
Join a unique, nature‑focused nursery in Cheltenham as an Early Years Educator. You will support children aged 0‑5 to learn, explore and thrive through outdoor adventures, whether you are newly qualified or already experienced.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
- Encourage curiosity, creativity and independence through nature‑based learning.
- Act as a Key Person: build relationships with children and families, observe, assess and record development.
- Maintain high safeguarding, health and safety standards while promoting safe risk‑taking outdoors.
- Assist with meals, personal care and daily routines.
- Collaborate with the team, liaise with parents and external professionals as needed.
Required profile
- Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification (NVQ, CACHE or equivalent).
- Good understanding of the EYFS framework (training provided for newly qualified).
- Passion for outdoor learning and child development.
- Nursery or Early Years experience desirable but not essential.
- Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one.
