Electrical Construction Supervisor – Nuclear Power Plant

About the role

The Electrical Construction Supervisor will lead the execution of electrical and instrumentation works on a large‑scale nuclear power plant construction site in the UK. Reporting to site management, you will coordinate subcontractors, ensure compliance with quality, safety and environmental standards, and support the commissioning hand‑over.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise electrical and I&C erection activities through to commissioning hand‑over.
• Manage subcontractors to deliver work on time, within budget and to quality standards.
• Develop detailed execution plans aligned with the overall construction schedule.
• Ensure availability of materials, tools and equipment before execution.
• Coordinate with engineering teams on technical documentation and site requirements.
• Monitor progress, maintain records and report to site management.
• Guarantee full compliance with QA/QC and EHS requirements.
• Identify and resolve deviations, non‑conformities and cost impacts.
• Manage as‑built documentation and turnover packages for commissioning.
• Support commissioning teams and ensure closure of punch‑list items.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering (Bachelor’s or Master’s).
• Experience on at least two full‑cycle power plant construction projects.
• Strong background in site execution and subcontractor management.
• Solid understanding of power plant systems and electrical/I&C disciplines.
• Fluent English; French is a plus.
