Electrical Retail Sales Representative

About the role

Join a leading independent electrical retailer in Plymouth as an Electrical Retail Sales Representative. You will deliver outstanding customer service, guide shoppers through a wide range of domestic electrical appliances, and help them select the right products for their homes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide exceptional in‑store and remote (phone/email) customer service.
• Advise customers on a broad portfolio of electrical and home appliances.
• Identify customer needs, present solutions and confidently close sales.
• Build lasting relationships to encourage repeat business.
• Process orders accurately and manage after‑sales enquiries.
• Liaise with manufacturers and delivery partners to resolve issues.
• Support the wider sales and customer service teams.
• Complete necessary administration and sales documentation.
• Contribute to branch sales targets and overall customer experience.

Required profile

• Passion for sales and helping customers.
• Previous experience in retail, showroom, electrical or appliance sales, or customer service.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Confident, friendly and proactive attitude.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good IT literacy.
• Willingness to learn new products and develop technical knowledge.
• Full UK driving licence (essential).
