Electrician – Full‑time, Ealing (UK)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Electrician to join Mears Group’s team in Ealing. This full‑time, permanent position involves hands‑on work across void and occupied residential properties, ensuring electrical systems are safe, compliant and ready for tenants.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out reactive repairs to lighting circuits, sockets, fuseboards and other electrical components.
• Inspect and test installations to verify safety and regulatory compliance.
• Replace or repair switches, outlets, light fittings and circuit breakers.
• Support planned maintenance and refurbishment projects across domestic properties.
• Respond to emergency call‑outs, including out‑of‑hours shifts when required.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas and communicate repair details to residents.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations (including AM2) and City & Guilds 18th Edition (or 17th Edition with progression).
• Full UK driving licence with a clean record.
• Previous experience in domestic or social‑housing electrical work.
