Electrician – House Maintenance Team

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our client’s in‑house maintenance team, delivering high‑quality repairs, installations and refurbishments for residential properties. You will ensure homes remain safe, functional and compliant with current wiring regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair faults on single‑phase and three‑phase installations, including shower and immersion element replacements.
• Carry out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR), testing & inspection and Portable Appliance Testing.
• Prepare and issue electrical installation certificates for minor works.
• Report urgent repairs or health & safety defects to the Qualifying Supervisor promptly.
• Maintain van stock, manage material usage and participate in out‑of‑hours emergency service.

Required profile

• Hold C&G 2330 and C&G 2382 qualifications (essential); C&G 2391 highly desirable.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to operate a company vehicle.
• Proactive health & safety mindset and ability to work with limited supervision.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers, including elderly or vulnerable residents.

Required skills
