Elite Operative – Domestic Groundworker (South West London)

About the role

Gilmartins is seeking an Elite Operative to join its specialist team delivering social‑housing repairs across South West London. You will work on a variety of ground‑working tasks, ensuring high‑quality outcomes for tenants and maintaining the company’s reputation for excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Repair and replace fencing panels on residential properties.
• Repoint and repair brickwork to a professional standard.
• Lay and replace paving slabs in communal and private areas.
• Carry out minor drainage work, including rodding, where required.
• Maintain accurate records and use PDA technology for job reporting.
• Ensure all health, safety and asbestos procedures are followed on site.

Required profile

• Proven experience in reactive maintenance for social housing.
• Full manual driving licence (automatic vans are not provided).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Reliability, excellent attendance and the capacity to manage workload under pressure.
