Emergency & Critical Care (ECC) & Referral Hospital Clinician

About the role

We are an independent multidisciplinary referral centre launching a new Emergency & Critical Care (ECC) and Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in late 2026. We seek motivated veterinary surgeons to join our team, providing emergency, critical, and referral care across a range of specialties.

Key responsibilities

• Manage emergency and critical care patients, including triage, stabilisation and ongoing ICU management.
• Support all referral disciplines with advanced diagnostics, anaesthetic management and surgical assistance.
• Oversee inpatient care plans and contribute to out‑of‑hours rotas.
• Participate in structured learning activities such as journal clubs and case discussions.

Required profile

• Qualified veterinary surgeon with a strong interest in emergency and critical care.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic hospital environment.
• Confidence managing diverse caseloads across multiple specialties.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.
