Employee Relations Specialist – HR Role in Leeds

About the role

We are seeking an Employee Relations Specialist to join a Leeds‑based organisation on a permanent, part‑time basis. The role focuses on delivering an operational HR service, offering advice and support while managing employee relations cases.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day HR advice and support to managers and employees.
• Manage employee relations cases, including TUPE transfers, ACAS negotiations and Employment Tribunal claims.
• Collaborate with the senior leadership team to align HR actions with the business strategy.
• Proactively resolve challenging situations, ensuring compliance with company policies and employment legislation.
• Advise key stakeholders on current legislation, identify risks and propose practical solutions.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in employee relations within a UK setting.
• Strong knowledge of TUPE, ACAS processes and Employment Tribunal procedures.
• Ability to work independently and influence senior leaders.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of compliance and confidentiality.
