Employer Engagement Officer

About the role

The Employer Engagement Officer will act as the primary link between KM Education Recruitment and local employers across Hertfordshire and surrounding areas. You will convert inbound leads into lasting partnerships, promoting a wide range of apprenticeship and workforce development programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Convert leads from marketing channels into active employer partnerships.
• Promote client‑offered apprenticeships and workforce development initiatives to new and existing employers.
• Identify skills gaps and design tailored training solutions.
• Manage employer accounts to maximise repeat business and growth.
• Oversee enrolment processes in collaboration with business support teams.
• Facilitate guest lectures, project work and work‑experience opportunities.
• Monitor performance against targets and KPIs.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a B2B/B2C role involving lead conversion and promotion of government‑funded training.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong time‑management, planning and presentation abilities.
• Full, clean UK driving licence with access to a personal vehicle.
• Willingness to travel flexibly across the region.
