Employment Consultant – Mental Health & Disability Support

About the role

We are recruiting Employment Consultants to support people with mental health conditions, disabilities and other barriers into sustainable employment. The role is community‑based, covering Hillingdon and surrounding boroughs, and offers a clear pathway for graduates with some commercial experience to make a genuine social impact.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with Job Centres, NHS services and local community partners.
• Motivate and guide individuals, understand their employment goals and develop personalised action plans.
• Deliver support across multiple sites including council offices and NHS locations.
• Manage your own diary, work towards agreed targets and report progress.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months experience in B2B sales, recruitment, account management or business development.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Comfortable working to targets and managing your own schedule.
• Genuine interest in mental health, employability or the charity sector.
• Degree‑level education preferred.
• Organised, resilient and able to work independently.
