Engineer – North West Region (Speke)

About the role

Keepmoat Homes is seeking an Engineer to join its North West team, based in Speke. The role supports the delivery of new housing developments by coordinating technical and engineering information, securing approvals, and ensuring projects start on schedule. It is suitable for candidates with house‑building experience or junior engineers ready to progress.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with external consultants to meet deadlines for engineering designs and reports.
• Apply for and secure statutory approvals for engineering designs and ground investigations.
• Control and coordinate technical information between consultants and internal departments.
• Ensure engineering information and approvals align with programmed site start dates.
• Support tenders, pre‑start documentation, and viability assessments.
• Assist the Engineering Manager in obtaining fee quotations from specialist consultants.
• Provide ongoing technical and administrative support to site teams.
• Collaborate with the Central Design Team on product development and legislative readiness.
• Build strong relationships with partner consultants, contractors, and adopting authorities.

Required profile

• Experience in housebuilding or a related engineering discipline (junior candidates are welcome).
• Willingness to travel to development sites within a 40‑mile radius of Speke.
• Strong organisational skills to manage technical documentation and approvals.
• Ability to work closely with internal technical teams and external consultants.
