Engineering Lecturer – BTEC Level 3 & HNC Level 4 (Fixed‑Term)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Lecturer to join the Stretford Campus on a fixed‑term basis from September/October 2026 to January 2027. The role involves delivering BTEC Level 3 and HNC Level 4 engineering programmes to motivated further‑education learners.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons for BTEC Level 3 Engineering, HNC Level 4 Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Engineering Mathematics.
• Prepare teaching materials, assessments and lesson plans in line with curriculum specifications.
• Monitor student progress, provide feedback and support to help learners achieve their targets.
• Stay up‑to‑date with industry developments and incorporate best teaching practices.
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Required profile

• Relevant degree or higher qualification in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience teaching Mechanical Engineering and Engineering Mathematics.
• Familiarity with delivering BTEC Level 3 and/or HNC Level 4 engineering qualifications.
• Teaching qualification or willingness to obtain one as required.
• Strong communication, organisation and classroom‑management abilities.
