English Second Language Teacher – Online

About the role

Cosmo 1:1 is seeking experienced English as a Second Language (ESL) teachers to deliver 1‑on‑1 online lessons to K‑12 students in Singapore and Hong Kong. You will work as an independent contractor, setting a flexible schedule while providing personalized instruction using the Cosmo curriculum.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver 50‑minute one‑on‑one ESL lessons to assigned students.
• Prepare age‑appropriate lesson materials aligned with the student’s ability.
• Update your availability promptly in the Cosmo app.
• Submit class feedback after each session.
• Communicate professionally with parents, students, and Cosmo staff.
• Maintain punctuality and a professional teaching environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 3 years teaching K‑12 English Language Arts.
• Experience with K‑12 standards and ESL learners.
• Teaching qualification preferred (not mandatory).
• Fast, reliable internet and a Windows or Mac PC.
• Commitment to at least 6 months with a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Availability 8 AM‑2 PM GMT (Mon‑Fri) or 5 AM‑2 PM GMT (weekends).
• Quiet, private teaching space.
• Currently residing in the United Kingdom.
