English Teacher – KS3 & KS4 (Full‑time/Part‑time)

About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic English Teacher to join our school in Guildford from September 2026. You will teach KS3 and KS4 pupils, helping them develop strong communication and analytical skills.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging English lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
- Plan, prepare and assess coursework, tracking student progress.
- Use interactive and innovative teaching methods, including Smartboards.
- Contribute to curriculum development and create supporting materials.
- Participate in departmental meetings, parent evenings and whole‑school training events.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching at secondary school level.
- Strong classroom management and inclusive learning practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
