Enterprise Risk Manager – Hybrid (London/Cambridge)

About the role

AVEVA is seeking an experienced Enterprise Risk Manager to join its risk function on a hybrid basis in London or Cambridge. Working closely with the ERM Director, you will embed and mature the company’s enterprise risk management (ERM) processes, ensuring business units understand and mitigate key risks.

Key responsibilities

• Embed and evolve AVEVA’s ERM framework across all business functions.
• Operationalise long‑term strategy, policies and risk‑response processes.
• Produce concise risk reports for governance and senior leadership.
• Integrate risk appetite statements and key risk indicators into daily operations.
• Lead the fraud risk assessment and maintain the associated framework.
• Coordinate with second‑line functions and internal audit to close the risk‑assessment‑response‑assurance loop.
• Maintain the Group Risk Register and manage emerging‑risk initiatives.
• Support external risk disclosures and stay current on ERM best practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing ERM in a global corporate environment.
• Demonstrated ability to present risk insights to senior leadership.
• Strong knowledge of corporate governance frameworks, including the UK Governance Code and PCAOB standards.
• Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Self‑starter with a strategic mindset and a drive to improve risk culture.

Required skills
