Event Coordinator

About the role

SLB is seeking an experienced Event Coordinator to lead the planning and execution of high‑impact corporate events and trade shows across the UK and internationally. You will own the full event lifecycle, from concept to delivery, ensuring each experience aligns with business objectives and brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver corporate events and trade shows in the UK and abroad.
• Manage end‑to‑end event logistics, including venues, budgets, timelines, and success metrics.
• Coordinate vendors, suppliers, travel, accommodation, F&B, and attendee management.
• Oversee contracts, payments, internal approvals, and post‑event reporting.
• Develop event content and collaborate with design teams on creative production.
• Run day‑to‑day operations such as registrations, RSVPs, and issue resolution.
• Lead on‑site execution and support senior leadership events.
• Maintain event technology platforms, data management, and performance reporting.

Required profile

• Extensive experience delivering B2B corporate events, conferences, or trade shows.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects independently from concept to execution.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience managing budgets, suppliers, agencies, and venues.
• Highly organised with strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time, including international trips.

Required skills

• Event technology platforms (e.g., Cvent).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
