Event Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking an Event Coordinator to manage and deliver client programmes, ensuring smooth on‑site operations and effective stakeholder engagement across the North West England region.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the delivery of client programmes, establishing efficient processes and providing on‑site management to ensure tasks are completed successfully during events.
• Develop a comprehensive operational guide that includes checklists, safety protocols, risk assessments, induction materials and ensures all necessary equipment is available.
• Plan, coordinate and deliver events, creating marketing materials to attract stakeholders, local communities and volunteers.
• Recruit volunteers and local residents to support individual projects and maintain regular communication with trusted local hosts and coordinators.
• Collaborate with local authorities, public‑sector organisations and partner agencies to co‑create high‑impact projects in visible locations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with partner organisations to identify suitable projects, engage relevant stakeholders and unlock resources, capacity and connections needed for successful delivery.
• Act as the main point of contact for the Cheshire Contribution programme, providing guidance and support to participants and partner organisations.
• Perform any additional duties required to support the successful execution of events and programmes on a part‑time, temporary basis.
