Exam Arrangements Assessor

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Exam Arrangements Assessor to join our specialist pool, supporting further education providers in delivering appropriate exam access arrangements for learners.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct assessments to determine student eligibility for exam access arrangements in line with JCQ regulations.
- Produce high‑quality reports and evidence to support access arrangement applications.
- Liaise with SEN teams, tutors and exam officers to ensure timely, accurate submissions.
- Review and reassess existing access arrangements as required.
- Maintain accurate, confidential assessment records and ensure compliance with legislation and exam board requirements.
- Advise staff on support strategies and reasonable adjustments.
- Contribute to continuous improvement within the Learning Support/Exams department.
Required profile
- Recognised qualification meeting JCQ requirements for Access Arrangements Assessors (e.g., Level 7 SpLD qualification or equivalent).
- Up‑to‑date knowledge of JCQ Access Arrangements and Reasonable Adjustments guidelines.
- Strong assessment experience, including administering standardised tests.
- Excellent written communication and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload.
- Commitment to inclusive education and learner success.
