About the role
Bruntcliffe Academy is looking for a dedicated Examinations Officer to manage the administration and delivery of all internal and external examinations. This key position works closely with students, staff, parents and awarding bodies to ensure examinations run smoothly and comply with regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate the scheduling, registration and logistics for all school examinations.
- Liaise with awarding bodies to ensure compliance with examination regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of student entries, results and certificates.
- Prepare and distribute examination materials and ensure secure handling.
- Provide support to students and staff during exam periods, addressing queries and issues promptly.
Required profile
- GCSE Grade 4/C or above in English and Mathematics.
- Previous experience in an examinations or administrative role.
- Strong numeracy, literacy and ICT abilities.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
- Experience using the SIMS school information system.
