Executive MCL Adjuster/Surveyor

About the role

Sedgwick is looking for an experienced Major Loss Adjuster to join its Major & Complex Loss team in the Glasgow area. As an Executive MCL Adjuster/Surveyor you will manage a portfolio of high-value commercial property claims, including material damage and business interruption, from initial investigation to final settlement. You will work both independently and as part of a team supported by Adjusting Executives and technical specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of high-value commercial property claims, including material damage and business interruption
• Guide clients through the claims process with professionalism and empathy
• Assess damage on site and compile reports from home or the office
• Work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Required profile

• A full UK driving licence, essential for site visits
• Solid experience handling major and complex commercial property claims
• Proven track record of delivering exceptional service and strong customer focus
• Ability to work independently and manage your own caseload
• ACII/ACILA or equivalent qualifications (or working towards them)
• Account management or market profiling experience is a plus

Required skills

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Strong IT skills, ideally with Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
• Problem-solving, prioritisation and adaptability
