Experienced Electrician / Electrical Improver – Full‑Time

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrician / Electrical Improver to join a well‑established family‑run business in Witham. The role is full‑time, permanent and involves delivering electrical installations and maintenance for commercial, industrial and private clients across Essex, the M25 corridor and the Home Counties.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out general electrical installations on commercial sites.
• Install, test and maintain fire alarm systems.
• Install, test and service emergency lighting.
• Perform electrical inspections and testing in accordance with regulations.
• Manage whole site‑based projects from start to finish.
• Travel to various locations within the designated area.

Required profile

• Qualified to NVQ Level 3, 2382 (Installation) and 18th Edition.
• Full clean UK driving licence.
• Proven experience working on commercial electrical projects.
• Flexible for early starts and able to begin immediately.

Required skills

• Electrical installation.
• Fire alarm system installation and testing.
• Emergency lighting installation and testing.
• Electrical inspection and testing.
• NVQ Level 3, 2382, 18th Edition certification.
